This large Blacksmith's Ledger records accounting and work carried out by the Kent Blacksmith from 1914 to 1925 covering work undertaken during the First World War and into the mid 1920's.
This ledger was in a very sorry state when we inherited it, the back cover was delaminating. We have since had a book binder work on it, it now looks superb whist retaining its authenticity and originality. It's now ready to last another century!
The ledger measurers 33 cm x 22.5 cm. It is 5 cm thick having 530 pages! It is Blue with a Brown spine and corners. Transcribed by Chris Timms 2026.
